As Junior pennants came to a close for the first half of the season we’re sure you may be feeling bereft and at a loss as to how to fill your weekends! Well, worry no more!

Sharper Tennis has plenty to keep your junior player active starting this Saturday 2nd December with our termly Hotshots Challenge!

This is always a great event for our Hotshots players and offers a great opportunity to put to the test the skills they have been practising over the previous term.

Sunday 3rd December sees our Wembley Downs Tennis Club junior members competing for their name to go on the prestigious club trophy and this year brings an added incentive of a $200 prize to the top dog. There will also be cash prizes for the runner-up and consolation finalists too! If you’re not a member and want a piece of the action then email our Junior Club Coordinators ( and get your membership in before Friday 1st December and you could be in with a chance…..If you are a junior member and haven’t put your name down then what are you waiting for?!

Following the in-house club tournaments, we are very pleased to be facilitating our first Junior Development Series tournament. This tournament is open to beginner junior players from all over the State and we would love to see some of our players take this next step in their tennis progression. We have designed the events to cater for even the youngest of our players (7+) whilst providing for older juniors looking for their first taste of open competitive matches. If this is of interest but you’re not sure whether your player is ready, please do get in touch and let us guide you. Call Simon (0449090238)
